our home farm

newcastle, maine

The inspiration for the brand has always been our love for food and farming. While our meat sticks were originally 100% sourced from our home farm, that is no longer possible. We now source the meat for our sticks from partner farms and ranches that meet our strict standards.

However, our family farm is still thriving. The animals roam outdoors from green pasture to green pasture. We sell single-sourced eggs and meat bundles locally.

Even our name comes straight from the land and the constant chorus of all the animals that call our farm home. From chickens and pigs to bullfrogs and songbirds, their voices come together to sing in perfect harmony.

Weekly Farm Update

Allow us to introduce our livestock manager, Siobhan! As well as thousands of pasture-raised hens, five 100% grass-fed cows, and our 26 pasture-raised pigs. Did you know that when we started our meat stick brand Singing Pastures, we raised 100% of the meat on our home farm? We’ve come a long way since then, and although we no longer source meat from our home farm, we partner with trusted farms that uphold our high standards. Don’t forget to check out our moveable chicken houses and shade structures! All of these are critical pieces of infrastructure to allow our animals to graze freely, the way nature intended!

farm fresh eggs

We offer pasture-raised eggs from happy hens that are tended by hand on our Maine family farm. The eggs can be found at Rising Tide, Alna Store, and a variety of other independent stores and restaurants in Midcoast.
